Sumaria Networks, LLC first successfully partnered with Avaya in 2000 when Lucent Technologies outsourced its Global Learning Solutions (GLS) division, which later became part of Avaya. Effective July 24, 2000, Sumaria entered into an agreement to operate Lucent/Avaya North American Customer Training Centers, and achieved a seamless transition in providing Training Delivery services to Avaya customers. During this contract, Sumaria managed, operated and maintained Lucent GLS/Avaya training center facilities in Pasadena, Calif.; Englewood, Colo.; Chicago, Ill.; Altamonte Springs, Fla.; Valhalla, N.Y.; and Milpitas, Calif. We also opened training facilities in Armonk, N.Y.; and Danvers, Mass., in the third quarter of 2001. In addition, Sumaria managed and delivered courses for Avaya’s Telecommunication Manager and Call Center Manager (TCM/CCM) Professional Development programs.
Beginning in 2008, Sumaria Networks was selected to provide global Training Delivery Services for Avaya throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America under a new contract. Services include installation, maintenance, administration and design training for Avaya’s extensive product base in both classroom and virtual training environments.
