Charles R. Carr  -  Senior Technical Instructor

Charles has more than 35 years of platform experience and 29 years of combined telecommunications experience with South Central Bell, AT&T and Lucent. Currently, he is a Sumaria IP Telephony Administration & Design instructor. His B.A. degree in English, M.Ed. in Secondary Education, and M.Ed. in Adult Education have provided him resources that have allowed him to teach at the high school and college levels, and to easily transition to the telecommunications platform.

Charles’ telecom career has spanned the areas of field services management, I&M instruction, soft skills instruction, call center instruction, course development, and diversity training.

Previously, Charles has worked with the International Alliance of Avaya Users (InAAU), and has presented at several international conferences.
