Jim English  -  Global Lead Instructor, Messaging

Jim has 20+ years of global technical training experience with 15 years in Master Instructor supervisory roles. He is skilled in the areas of team management, project management, certification development and writing, and has in-depth knowledge of Unified Communications/UCAI/Messaging design and implementation.

In addition to utilizing his instructional delivery skills and product/industry knowledge to provide quality product training to customers, distributors and field support personnel, Jim's recent work experience has made him highly skilled in Modular Messaging and one-X Speech products, and he has also developed in-depth knowledge of UCAI, one-X Portal, one-X Mobile, one-X Communicator, IPS Avaya Intelligent Presence Server, one-X and Meeting Exchange. Jim also has extensive experience participating in curriculum and course development initiatives.

Prior to joining Sumaria, Jim served as a Technical Trainer/Master Instructor for Avaya University (AU). Positions held prior to his time with AU include Training Delivery Manager for Avaya, Inc.; Senior Technical Instructor for Avaya, Lucent Technologies and Octel Communications; and Sales Trainer, Customer Development Specialist and Technical Support Engineer for VMX Inc.
