Oded Paz  -  Senior Technical Instructor

Oded Paz has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience working for Avaya, Nortel, Telrad Networks and the IDF Communication Core. His background includes Class Training, Web Training and Course Development for global customers, as well as Team Leader Training. His extensive technology background includes data networking switches and protocols, private voice systems, both public and cellular switching, optical networks, ATM switching and more.

Oded currently serves as Sumaria’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the DATA APDS SE curriculum. Previously, he served as the primary instructor for the ERS product line in Europe and the Middle East (EMEA) from 2008 to 2009. His systems-wide expertise in former Nortel platforms includes CS 1000, Call Pilot, OTM, SME, VoIP Technology, Data Introduction, SME, TCP/IP, ATM Switching, UMTS and CDMA.

Oded has been certified for the Support & Design of all Ethernet Routing Switch products since 2006 and has been regularly delivering training for these products since then. He also holds a Practical Engineering Diploma in Electronics/Communications and a B.A. in Social Science from the Open University of Israel, and is fluent in Hebrew, English and Spanish.
