Pete Petrucci - Global Lead Instructor, IP Telephony Implementation & Maintenance
Pete has more than 39 years of combined telecommunications experience with New York Telephone, ATTIS, AT&T, Lucent and Sumaria Networks. Currently, he is one of Sumaria’s Global Lead Instructors.
While Pete was with AT&T and Lucent, he was a Dedicated Switch Installation Crew (DSIC) Technician, responsible for the project management and installation of large projects in New York. Pete was also a QualNet Technician, working with Fortune 500® companies throughout the world from which he then transitioned into Lucent's Training Organization.
At Lucent, Pete served as the National Lead for the ARS/AAR and Intuity Audix Maintenance courses, where he trained not only in the classroom, but also on-site with clients for more than 11 years, delivering administration, implementation, maintenance and custom design courses. He worked with many course developers and was selected to deliver multiple Train the Trainer (TTT) sessions. Pete has also worked with the International Alliance of Avaya Users (InAAU) and has presented at several local, regional and international conferences.
As Sumaria’s Global Lead Instructor for IP Telephony Implementation & Maintenance, Pete works closely with Avaya Course Developers and Equipment Logistics staff. He also maintains a full course delivery schedule for Basic Administration, IP Telephony Servers and Gateways, Advanced IP Telephony, IP Telephony Maintenance, Avaya Meeting Exchange, and many other courses.
