Dennis Shaw  -  Senior Technical Instructor

Dennis, an Avaya Certified Instructor (ACI), has 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and has conducted both classroom and virtually based technical and account executive training courses for the last 11 years. Over the past six (6) years, he has provided Avaya IP Office system Sales and Installation & Maintenance instruction to more than 1,000 students for Avaya, Sumaria Networks and Catalyst Telecom.

Previously, Dennis was a Senior Instructor for AT&T and Lucent Technologies, delivering Merlin Legend/Magix, Definity, and Intuity AUDIX courses in classroom, virtual and satellite TV formats. He also managed a highly successful 10-day Executive and Solution Selling course for Lucent in Colorado, Thailand and Switzerland. Prior to his instructor days, Dennis was an award winning Senior Account Executive for AT&T and Executone.

Before to his telecom career, Dennis spent 13 years as a television and radio sportscaster and news anchor/reporter. He currently resides in Key Biscayne, Fla.
