
ELLIE CERVANTES
SENIOR DELIVERY OPERATIONS MANAGER
Ellie has more than 30 years of combined experience with AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya, of which the last six (6) years have been spent as the Western Region Training Manager in the Pasadena Customer Training Center.
Upon joining Sumaria Networks, she was responsible for managing two (2) West coast training centers with eight (8) technical instructors. Presently, she is working very closely with the Avaya University scheduling team to assist in the utilization and scheduling of Sumaria instructors for both domestic and international training delivery. In addition, she works with lead managers to organize Sumaria instructor career paths in becoming certified for the delivery of several Avaya courses.
She also served as the Center Lead for the Avaya University California Training Center in Pasadena. Ellie also served as the Team Lead Instructor for the Basic System Administration course, taking a lead role in the initial development of the first multimedia basic system administration course for which the team received several awards, including the 1999 President's Award for Team Excellence and the Circle of Excellence Award. She has continued to work with developers to redesign important courses for Avaya.
Her additional years of experience were with the AT&T Network Customer Presentation Center and the Regional Telecommunications Management Group, where she received extensive hands-on experience with DEFINITY® Systems Administration and handled internal telecommunications for several company locations.
