British Telecom Global Case Study

The Challenge

In 2010, British Telecom Global (BT), in order to become an Avaya Platinum Partner, needed an effective course developed and delivered that would train its staff in the sales skills necessary to achieve this goal.

Sumaria’s Role

Sumaria Learning Solutions was commissioned to develop and professionally manage a virtual team of Sumaria and BT employees for its Sales and Presales program. We consulted with BT in order to identify the requirements in order to develop an effective sales course that would meet, improve and exceed BT’s goals and changing needs.

The Result

Our global up-skilling certification plan and development of fast-track events helped BT enable over 200 sales and technical employees and saved over 3,000 working hours annually. Our training and instructional design helped BT to achieve its key goals allowing it to be more effective globally -- placing it in a better position with a key Partner. Due to the success of this project, Sumaria Learning Solutions and British Telecom continue to work together to maintain these results.

NACR Case Study

The Challenge

North American Communications Resource (NACR) needed to deliver its own version of Avaya System and Session Manager to its client. NACR sought to partner with Sumaria Learning Solutions in order to staff the project.

Sumaria’s Role

We supplied an expert instructor to deliver an effective Avaya System Manager fast-track course. The delivery involved consulting with NACR on its requirements and then tailoring the course to fit NACR’s needs. The course was then subsequently delivered in a classroom environment for 4 days, at NACR's client location.

The Result

NACR’s client was extremely satisfied with the results of the Avaya System and Session Manager course and the instructor, stating that both had exceeded their expectations. The client also said that Sumaria’s instructor demonstrated his effective delivery skills and knowledge of Avaya products, allowing their staff to successfully apply their new skills and knowledge on the job. As a result, Sumaria Learning Solutions continues to work with NACR on additional projects in the pipeline.
