Avaya Case Study 2
Avaya Case Study 1
Project Overview  -  In early 2009 Sumaria Networks began providing Instructional Design, Editing, Assessment and Content Development services to Avaya for client specified projects.

Sumaria's Role  -  Sumaria Networks is providing custom content development services for e-Learning and e-Briefing courses, instructional design services to build custom technical courseware, and content editing and assessment development services for technical courseware.

Our established staff of project managers, content developers, instructional designers, assessment developers and content editors provide comprehensive course design services for both technical and organizational courseware. Our staff use SCORM compliant tools and the ADDIE model combined with Rapid Prototyping to ensure consistent design results that allow for delivery through the Adobe uConnect platform or the client’s LMS. We are currently supporting multiple project efforts that are migrating instructor-led course content to virtual-based course content in various virtual formats, including vILT, vLAB, eLearning and eBriefing formats.

The work we have done to date migrating technical ILT courseware to virtually-delivered formats has been very cost effective for our client. Over a three-year period, on average, savings per course were approximately 50% less for vLAB instruction versus ILT delivery. This, in turn, is allowing Avaya to cover the same ILT content virtually without incurring travel expenses, and is reducing their annual investment of updating a dozen training facilities throughout the world.
